Stacked Baby Blocks Porcelain Limoges Box

A stack of colorful toy blocks, the very first building set in so many nurseries, takes shape here in hand-painted porcelain. It is a Limoges figurine box, made and painted by hand in Limoges, France.

Building Blocks of a New Life

Alphabet and toy blocks have been nursery favorites for generations, and they carry a lovely meaning for a new family: everything starts one block at a time. The bright hand-painted colors keep the piece cheerful, and each finished set is painted individually, so no two stacks look quite the same.

Stacking Up the Nursery Shelf

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Fits a baby, toy or nursery collection
• Pairs well with teddy bear, rocking horse and baby carriage pieces

A Cornerstone for Baby Showers

Give it at a baby shower, a christening, or a naming ceremony, or send it to an aunt or uncle who just got the news. It is also a welcome thank-you for a nursery teacher, a nanny or a babysitter who has become part of the family.

Some parents tuck a hospital bracelet or a first curl inside and keep it on a bookcase in the nursery. Others display it on their own dresser, where the bright blocks bring a little color to the room long after the baby has grown up.
